Due to the proprietary nature of the technology, I am unable to dive explicit explanation of the design work. A front view (left) and back view (right) of the Block Up Converter (BUC) that I worked on Is shown below. I collaborated with the lead electrical engineer to design the clam-shell type enclosures (shown as teal) with integral passive heat management system, made up of the extended heat sink and thermal padding.
The image below shows an exploded view of the assembly. The two halves of the enclosure clamp around the PCB and includes extremely dimension sensitive chambers and paths to shield and isolate electrical signals. EMI shielded gasketing isshown in black, and thermal pads are shown in blue, contact area is shown in red.
